On May 24, 2008, All-Ukrainian public organization Association of Ukrainian Translators held its next workshop out of the set “Important Theoretical and Practical Issues of Translation” titled “Professional Standards: Main Requirements of Professional Practices and Clauses of Contracts for Provision of Translation Services” which took place in Kyiv.

The Association of Ukrainian Translators was created in 1999. This is the only public organization in Ukraine which provides legal assistance to all players on the market of professional translations, both to customers and suppliers of translation services. The Association of Professional Translators relies on the best national and global practices and develops cooperation with translator associations all over the world.

The workshop covered the main requirements of translation practices and main clauses of contracts for provision of translation services, and many other translation-related issues.

The workshop was attended both by top managers of translation companies, and freelance translators from various regions of the country.

InText was represented by Valery Legotin, Chief Project Manager, Tatyna Kolesnyk, Project Manager, and Marina Bogdan, Marketing Manager.
