From the very beginning of the company's existence and until now InText has viewed continuous improvement of the team competence and exchange of knowledge and experience as its key tasks. Recently we have made more steps in this direction. And we have already harvested results.
Each week we have "the Knowledge Day". We devote a couple of hours to learn about new software and deepen our knowledge in the tools we know already. We watch and discuss presentations received at international translation conferences arranged by GALA, LISA, ProZ.com or take part in webinars.
Besides, each week our Project Management and Editing departments have brainstorming sessions. We discuss current projects, talk over unusual workflow situations and try to find the solutions. Thus we are building a stronger and more experienced team to improve the quality of services we offer our clients.
It is also worth mentioning that our project managers are attending language courses. Some of them strive to speak better English, others are mastering new languages - German and Spanish.
Once a month, InText holds a meeting of all employees. Our team discusses monthly results of the company, key tasks and goals for the near future. As a result, the team is consolidated and focused on realizing the company's strategy.
In the future, we plan to maintain the current system of training and cooperation and form a system which will help our freelance co-workers to grow and improve professionally.
