Technologies
In our work we use professional software which allows us to make translations using main formats both on ÐÑ and ÌÀÑ platforms. Besides, InText uses state-of-the-art technologies of word processing, including Translation Memory, page layout and graphical software, various workflow automation and data processing tools, etc.
The Company's software and hardware are upgraded regularly, which allows us to make translations at the high technical level, in compliance with the current requirements.
Quality Assurance
The InText Translation Agency focuses on meeting the demands of our clientele; so, the company has adopted the internal quality control system.
Each translation is subject to multistage verification:
Translators perform translation job using the Translation Memory technology, to ensure consistency of terminology. After that all texts are edited by our in-house reviewer. Translated texts are compared with source materials to guarantee quality of translation. Thereafter texts are checked by professional Russian or Ukrainian editor from the point of view of the target audience. And the final check is performed by our proofreader after we receive ready files from DTP department. All the corrections are implemented in PDF files and target Frame Maker, QuarkXPress, PageMaker or any other application.
Calculation of translation volume
The translation volume is calculated in characters or words using the Statistics option in the Service menu of the Microsoft Word application or using the special software product PractiCount & Invoice.
Mostly, the volume is determined by the source text, which allows you to know the precise volume and cost of an order while placing.
However, if material is submitted in e-format, in the form preventing from calculation by the original text, or in printed form, the precise volume shall be determined based on the text translated, using the abovementioned technique.
Our capacity
Our daily translation rate is varied in the range of 1400-7000 words depending on the project size and gained experience (i.e. how deeply we are familiar with a project domain).
Reference stock
The library stock of InText contains more than 400 dictionaries, reference books and manuals in 10 languaues and more than 30 spheres of science, engineering, culture, art, sports, politics, economy, law, medicine, transport and methods of teaching foreign languages. Besides, we possess a large database comprising all the translations made during the last five years.
